Recently, it’s been very cold and windy outside.
It’s so cold that if I leave a cup of tea unattended for even 2 minutes, it quickly becomes cold!
I’m always craving hot tea and soup these days, so I was really excited when my friends invited me for mushroom hotpot at a restaurant in Ueno.
寒くて風が強い季節になってきましたね。
寒すぎて、お茶を2分でも放っておくとすぐに冷めちゃうわよね！
そんな寒い日には、温かいお茶やスープがぴったりだから、友達が上野のでキノコ鍋のお店に誘ってくれてとっても嬉しかったわ。

I had never heard of this restaurant before but I was intrigued by the concept.
The restaurant serves hotpot but with a focus on mushrooms.
Not only was there a large variety of mushrooms on the menu, but even the tables were decorated with mushroom shaped ornaments.
There was even a mushroom shaped wooden salt shaker on every table!
このお店のことは今まで知らなかったけれど、おもしろいコンセプトでした！
キノコを中心としたお鍋のお店なの。
キノコの種類が豊富にあるだけでなく、テーブルにはキノコの形をしたオーナメントやキノコの形をした木製の塩入れもありました！

My friends and I ordered a mushroom set and I got to try around 10 types of mushrooms of all shapes, colors and textures!
There was a sauce station where customers could create their own sauce to mix with the broth.
There were a lot of toppings like minced garlic, scallions, coriander and chopped chilis.
There were also condiments like soy sauce, chili oil, sesame paste, vinegar etc.
友達と一緒に、キノコセットを注文して、形や色、食感が異なる10種類ほどのキノコを試すことができたの！
自分達ででスープに混ぜるたれを作ることができるコーナーがあったわ。
みじん切りにされたニンニクやネギ、コリアンダー、刻んだ唐辛子などのトッピングもたくさん用意されていたし、醤油、ラー油、練りごま、酢などの調味料もありました。

I liked that people could adjust the saltiness or spiciness according to their taste.
It was absolutely delicious and the decor of the restaurant was also very cute! I definitely want to go there again!
自分の好みに合わせて塩分や辛さを調整できるのが気に入りました。
とても美味しかったし、お店の内装もすごく可愛かったので絶対にまた行きたいです！
