If I could have a month off, I would spend it traveling around Japan!
I love traveling, it’s one of my favourite ways of spending my free time (and my money)!
I also like trying new foods from the places I travel to.
I think one of the best ways of getting to know the local culture is through the local food!

旅行は、自分の自由な時間（とお金）を使う価値のある特別な楽しみなんです。
旅行先の新しい食べ物を試すのも好きです。

During Golden Week, I went to Fukuoka with a friend of mine – unfortunately, we were only there for four days, but it was a great experience!
We explored the city, went to an aquarium, tried the local ramen restaurants and had a lot of strawberries for dessert every day – it was so much fun!
There was also a Gyoza festival in Fukuoka city while I was there – it was intersting to try the different types of dumplings they had available.
ゴールデンウィーク中に、友人と福岡へ行きました。残念ながら、4日間しかいられませんでしたが、とても素晴らしい経験になりました！
市内を散策したり、水族館に行ったり、ご当地ラーメンを食べてみたり、いちごのデザートを毎日たくさん食べたりして、本当に楽しかったです！
滞在中にクラフト餃子フェスティバルが開催されていて、さまざまな種類の餃子を試せてとても面白かったわ。

What’s more, I love the seaside, so being able to go to the beach and sit by the sea was amazing!
Even though it was still a little cold, I really enjoyed the day we spent at the beach.
I find the sea very peaceful, so it was a good way for me to relax after a busy couple of weeks at university.

それにね、海が大好きなので、ビーチに行って海辺に座る時間を持てたことは最高でした！
まだ少し寒かったけれど、ビーチで過ごせて本当に楽しい一日になったわ。
数週間の忙しい大学生活の後だったので、海がとても穏やかでリラックスできました。
