Hi! My name is Becky and I am from Manchester in England.
こんにちは！イングランドのマンチェスター出身のBecky（ベッキー）です。

Manchester is a big city in the north of England that is very famous for football!
You might have heard of Manchester United or Manchester City but I don’t support any team.
It is very popular and makes the public transport very busy when there is a football match on.
マンチェスターはイングランドの北にある大きな町で、サッカーでとても有名です。
マンチェスターユナイテッドやマンチェスターシティーをご存知かも知れませんが、私はどのチームも応援していません。
とても人気があってサッカーの試合がある時は交通機関がとても混雑するんです。

There is also a huge shopping mall called The Trafford Centre which has many shops, restaurants and fun activities like mini golf.
It has very beautiful decorations like Greek statues and a giant chandelier!
Many people go to take photos of it and I recommend visiting if you are ever in Manchester!
トラフォードセンターという巨大なショッピングモールもあり、たくさんお店やレストラン、ミニゴルフのような楽しいアクティビティもあるんです。
ギリシャの像や大きなシャンデリアのような美しい装飾もあります。
みんなその写真を撮ってるわ、マンチェスターに行く機会があれば訪れることをオススメします！

When I lived in England, I liked visiting coffee shops, going for walks and playing netball.
Netball is a team sport most often played by women with 7 people on a team.
It is similar to basketball except you are not allowed to move when you have the ball!
I loved playing it and before I left, my team won the league! Hooray for us!
イングランドに住んでいた時は、コーヒーショップに行ったり、散歩したり、ネットボールをすることが好きだったわ。
ネットボールはチームスポーツで、1チーム7人でやります。
ボールを持っている時、動いてはいけないことを除いてはバスケットボールに似ています。
ネットボールをすることが大好きで辞める前には私のチームはリーグ優勝しました。ばんざーい！！

Another big interest of mine is art.
I love drawing, painting in watercolours and animating.
I studied Animation at university and my final film was a hand drawn animation based on the Japanese Goddess Amaterasu!
It was a lot of fun to make but took a lot of time and hard work.
その他にとても興味を持っているのはアートです。
デッサンをしたり、水彩画を描いたり、アニメを作る事が大好きです。
大学ではアニメーションを学んで、私の最後の作品は天照大神を題材にした手書きのアニメーションでした。
とても楽しかったですが、かなり時間が掛かり大変な作業でした。

I first came to Japan on holiday in June 2017.
I planned many activities so every day was busy!
I think my favourite days were wearing a kimono and visiting Senso-ji, travelling to explore Kamakura and going to Tokyo Disneyland.
After that trip I knew I wanted to come back and here I am!
休暇を取って初めて日本に来たのは2017年6月でした。
たくさん予定を入れちゃったので毎日忙しかったです！
1番楽しかったのは、着物を着て浅草寺に行ったこと、鎌倉へ行ったこと、ディズニーランドに行ったことです。
その旅の後、日本にまた戻ってきたいなと思ったの、そして今ここにいます！！

Since I arrived back in Japan in April, I have travelled to many places including Hakone, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Himeji.
It was a very interesting adventure and I took many photos.
I think my favourite place was Hakone as I loved riding the cable car up the mountain and going on a boat trip.
However, the weather was very cloudy so I want to go again when the sun is out!
日本に今年の4月に戻って来てから、箱根、京都、奈良、大阪、姫路を含むたくさんの場所に行きました。
とても楽しく貴重な経験で写真をたくさん撮りました。
ケーブルカーで山を登ったり、ボートにも乗ったりを楽しんだ箱根がお気に入りです。
その時はとても曇っていたので、今度は良いお天気の時に行きたいわ！

Now I am settled in Tokyo and am ready to meet new people and learn about their interests.
I love hearing people talk about their passions and I look forward to hearing yours!
I hope we can learn lots together!
