Recently for a school assignment I had to visit the EDO TOKYO Museum in Sumida.
I learned so much about the the Edo period by visiting the museum.
If you have never been before I highly recommend that you visit, Its a perfect place to go with family or friends on a rainy day or if you just don’t have anything planned .
先日、学校の研究課題で墨田区にある江戸東京博物館に行って来ました。
この博物館に行ったことにより江戸時代について様々な事を学ぶことが出来ました。
まだ行ったことがなければすごくお勧めです！家族や友達と、雨の日とか予定が特にない日には最適な場所です！

My favorite part about the EDO TOKYO Museum was all the different exhibits, they had exhibits on the history of Edo as well as on how the people of Edo Lived their lives.
There are huge models of cities that you can look at through binoculars.
Looking though binoculars makes it seem so real, there are even little people in the models so if you don’t use the binoculars you feel like a giant.
江戸東京博物館の中でお気に入りの部分は全てが違う展示であることです。江戸の歴史やその時代の人々の生活の様子を展示していました。
また、そこには双眼鏡で観ることが出来るとても大きな都市の模型があります。
双眼鏡を通してみると、それはまるで本物かのように見えて、模型の中には小さな人々がいたんだけど、もし、双眼鏡を使わなければまるで巨人になったかのように感じるでしょう！

The museum also has a lot of architecture from the Edo period within it.
Inside the museum there is a massive bridge that is constructed that leads you to the exhibits and it is incredibly beautiful.
There are also a lot of other buildings that they have constructed replicas of as well.
博物館には江戸時代の様々な建築物もあります。
建物の中には展示会に導くものすごく大きな橋が建てられていて、それは信じられないほど美しいです。
他にもたくさんの建物があり、これらも同様にレプリカで作られているんです。

Visiting the EDO TOKYO Museum made me realize how different Tokyo is today and how the way people live has also changed.
There is so much to learn when visiting the museum it might be good to return in the future if you could not see everything during your first visit.
The museum also has new exhibits that are held from time to time so if you return again there may be a new exhibit waiting for you!!
江戸東京博物館を訪れることで、今日の東京とはいかに違うか、人々の生き方が変わったことに気づかされました。
また、この博物館に訪れたことで、沢山のことを学ぶことが出来ました。
学べることがたくさんあるので、一度の訪問では全部は観きれないかも知れませんが、また行くことをオススメします。
この博物館は時々新しい展示会も開催されていますので、繰り返し行っても、違う展示に出会えるかも知れません！
