It’s starting to become fall, but it doesn’t feel like it to me yet.
It is still very warm here in Japan but in my hometown Rhode Island it is already colder.
It varies from 11-18 degrees celsius depending on the day.This is what Fall feels like for me.
Fall is my favorite season because of the festivities and traditions that we have.
One very popular tradition is that at Starbucks or Coffee shops we have Pumpkin Spice flavored beverages and snacks.
秋が始まっているけど、まだ実感出来ないな。
日本はまだまだ暖かいですが、故郷のロードアイランド州はもう寒くなっています。
日によっては11度から18度まで温度差があるのです。僕にとってはこんな気候が秋を感じさせるのです。
秋にはお祭りや伝統があるので、大好きな季節です。
昔から続いているとてもポピュラーな事のひとつに、スターバックスやコーヒーショップで、かぼちゃとスパイス味の飲み物とお菓子を楽しむ事があります。

Pumpkin Spice beverages and deserts are sold from the beginning of September till about the end of November.
I don’t think that Japan has Pumpkin Spice flavored foods because I haven’t seen them.
Pumpkin Spice is Pumpkin flavored along with some Cinnamon added in it.
Americans really like this drink because it has an interesting taste that makes you feel like it is Fall!
かぼちゃとスパイス味の飲み物とデザートの販売は、9月上旬から11月末迄です。
日本では、かぼちゃとスパイス味の食べ物はまだ見たことがないので無いんじゃないかな。
パンプキンスパイスには、かぼちゃの味にシナモンが入っています。
アメリカの人々の本当に好きな飲み物で、秋の訪れを感じさせてくれる面白い味です!

We also have corn mazes which are big mazes made out of Corn.
You can visit local farms and try to find your way out of the maze,it can be very hard sometimes but it is very rewarding when you find your way out.
We also have Scary Corn Mazes where people wear costumes and try to scare you when you go through them,usually you go to the scary ones at night because it makes it even scarier.
アメリカには、その他にトウモロコシで出来た大きなトウモロコシ迷路というものがあります。
田舎のトウモロコシ畑を訪れるとこの巨大迷路は見つけることが出来ます。たまにすごく難しい迷路もありますが、道が分かちゃったらとてもハマっちゃいます。
怖いトウモロコシ迷路には、仮装をした人達が驚かしてくるものもあって、夜に行けば、もっと恐怖を味わえますよ。

After you go through a corn maze you can go pumpkin picking and find your own pumpkin.
In America in the Fall we decorate the front of our house or the inside of our house with Pumpkins.
You can just leave the pumpkin as it is or you can carve a face into it and make a Jack O’ Lantern.
Every Fall making Jack O’ Lanterns would be one of my favorite things to do in the Fall.
You can also go to exhibits were professional artists carve them too if you don’t want to make one yourself.

トウモロコシ迷路の後は、かぼちゃ堀りに行って自分のかぼちゃを見つけることも楽しめます。
アメリカでは、秋に玄関先や室内にかぼちゃを飾ります。
そのままで飾るのもいいし、顔型にくり抜いてジャック・オー・ランタンを作るのもありです。
毎年ジャック・オー・ランタンを作るのは、秋の楽しみのひとつです。
でも、自分で作りたくなければ、プロの作家が作る展示へ行けばいいのです。
