One of my favorite hobbies is watching movies, especially with friends.
If you ask me what my favorite movie is, I will have trouble picking!
There are so many different genres and movies that I can’t pick.
Instead of telling you about one favorite movie I will recommend a few different ones!
私の趣味のひとつは映画鑑賞で、特に友人達と一緒に観るのが大好きです。
お気に入りの映画を聞かれたとしたら本当に困ってしまいます！
あまりにも様々なジャンルがあるので、選び切れません。
大好きな映画をひとつ紹介するのではなく、いくつか異なるオススメの映画をジャンル別でご紹介します！

◆Stardust – Fantasy/Adventure/Romance◆

スターダスト‐ファンタジー/アドベンチャー/ラブロマンス

Stardust is a fun movie about a man who unexpectedly falls in love with a fallen star.
In the movie the main character is trying to prove his love to a girl in his town by bringing her a fallen star.
He expects to find a rock but finds a beautiful girl instead.
The beautiful girl is actually the fallen star.
The man and the star go on an adventure to find a way to get the star back into the sky.
They fight witches, become friends with pirates, and fall in love.
It’s a very cute movie, especially if you like fantasy and romance.
『スターダスト』は思いがけない隕石の落下とともに、恋に落ちた男性の面白い映画です。
この映画のメインキャラクターは落下した隕石と一緒に彼の住む街に現れた女性に対する愛を証明しようとする物語です。
彼は隕石が見つかることを期待していましたが、そこにいたのは隕石ではなく美しい女性でした。
その美女は実は落ちてきた隕石だったのです。
主人公の男と美女は空に星を戻す方法を探すために冒険に出ます。
そして彼らは魔女たちと戦い、海賊たちと友達になります。そして彼らの恋は結ばれます。
とてもキュートな映画で、特にファンタジーとラブロマンス映画が好きな方にはとてもオススメです！

◆Legally Blonde – Comedy◆

キューティブロンド‐コメディ

Legally Blonde is one of my favorite movies to watch when I need a pick-me-up because it always cheers me up.
It is a story about a pretty woman whose boyfriend breaks up with her because she isn’t smart.
She follows him to law school where she eventually finds that she is a really good lawyer.
By the end of the movie she realizes that she’s more than just pretty.
Even though the movie came out in 2001, I still love this movie.
They even made a Broadway musical version of the movie.
The songs from the musical are a lot of fun.
『Legally Blonde（邦題：キューティブロンド）』は元気を出したい時に励ましてくれる大好きな映画のひとつです。
この映画のストーリーはプリティーな女性が彼氏に振られてしまうところから始まります。なぜなら彼女は頭がよくはなかったからです。
彼女は彼を追い法学部に入り、やがて彼女が有能な弁護士だと気づきます。
映画の最後には彼女は可愛いだけではないことに気づくのです。
この映画は2001年に公開しましたが、今でも大好きな作品です。
いまだにブロードウェイミュージカルとして作られています。
ミュージカルソングはとても楽しくて素敵ですよ。

◆Knives Out – Crime/Drama◆

ナイブズアウト‐犯罪/ドラマ

I saw this movie recently when I returned to the US for Christmas.
It’s a crime/drama that has a bit of comedy for balance.
There are a lot of famous actors in it such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, and Toni Collette.
The story is about the death of a rich man, his family, and his nurse.
The family is constantly fighting over their inheritance and are fun to root against.
I don’t want to say too much or I might ruin it!
If you like interesting crime movies then I suggest you see it.
It came out in the US in November but it will come out in Japan in January 31st.
昨年のクリスマスにアメリカに帰省した際に観た映画です。
この映画は犯罪ドラマですが少しコメディ要素も含んだ作品です。
この映画にはジェイミー・リー・カーティス、クリス・エヴァンス、ダニエル・クレイグ、トニ・コレットといった有名な俳優がたくさん出演しています。
このストーリーは、大富豪とその家族、看護師の死についてです。
この家族はずっと遺産について争っていました。そして互いに負かすことを楽しんでいました。
これ以上はネタバレになってしまうので言えません！
興味をお持ちでしたらぜひご覧になってください。
アメリカでは昨年の11月に公開されましたが日本では今年の1月に公開予定です。
