I’m from Baguio City in The Philippines.
It is called “the summer capital of the Philippines” because it’s a cool climate.
It is also called the “city of pines” as it is surrounded by trees and mountains.
私はフィリピンのバギオ出身です。
バギオは気候が涼しいことから「フィリピンの夏の首都」と呼ばれています。
また木々や山々に囲まれていることから「松の街」とも呼ばれています。

The three most popular things my hometown known for are music, food, and delicacies.
Let me tell you more about it.
バギオは音楽と食べ物、そして珍味の3つが人気です。
詳しくご説明しますね。

Music:
People from Baguio City love Country music a lot. Have you ever tried listening to this genre?
Some of the famous country music singers that you probably know are Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Elvis Presley, Shania Twain, Tim Mcgraw, and the famous singer now, Taylor swift.
A lot of men from my hometown can sing very well and they prefer singing country songs.
You can often notice this music when you take the taxi, as drivers usually play it.
This kind of music also has an impact on men’s fashion as they like cowboy style.
I　remember my father who used to wear a cowboy hat and boots.
You can also go to local bars and enjoy listening to live country music sing by middle-age men in a cowboy fashion .
音楽:
バギオの人々はカントリーミュージックが大好きです。このジャンルを聴いたことはありますか？
ブレイク・シェラトン、キャリー・アンダーウッド、キース・アンバー、エルヴィス・プレスリー、シャナイア・トゥエイン、ティム・マグロウなどが有名でご存知かも知れませんね。最近ではテイラー・スウィフトが一番有名です。
バギオの男性は歌が上手な人が多くてカントリーソングを歌うことが好きです。
タクシーに乗るとよく運転手さんが口ずさんでいるのを見かけることがあるでしょう。
男性がカウポーイスタイルを好むことも音楽からの影響でしょう。
父もカウボーイハットやブーツを着ていたわ。
地元のバーに行けば、カウボーイファッションの中年男性が歌うカントリーミュージックの生演奏を楽しめます。

Food:
We love to eat out and throwing parties too!
One of the things tourists enjoy when they visit is the mouth-watering food many restaurants serve.
With a budget of 250-500 Yen, you can have a big meal and go out fully satisfied.
And there’s a lot of great restaurants that tourists really have to check out when visiting.
Some of the must-visit restaurants are Good taste (it serves mostly Filipino-Chinese style dishes), Seafood Island restaurant( where you can enjoy lots of seafood), and Choco-de batirol ( most famous for its chocolate drink and classic Filipino dishes).
食べ物：
私達は外食やパーティーを開くことも大好きです！
旅行客のお楽しみのひとつに美味しい料理が食べれるたくさんのレストランを訪れることがあります。
250円から500円ぐらいでボリューム満点の食事を堪能出来ます。
旅行客にオススメのレストランはたくさんあるんです。
絶対に行っていただきたいレストランは『Good taste（フィリピンと中華料理のお店）』や『Seafood Island restaurant（海鮮料理）』、『Choco-de batirol（チョコレートドリンクとフィリピンの伝統料理料理で有名）』です。

Delicacies:
One of the most famous crops my home town produces is Ube. Ube is a type of yam (a root vegetable) and a relative of sweet potato.
I heard Okinawa has this too. It is purple in color and tastes really good!
If in Japan you have a matcha cake, matcha ice cream, etc. In my hometown, we have ube jam, ube cake and ube ice cream too.
Strawberry is also famous!. Tourists enjoy strawberry picking too. We have our original strawberry jam and strawberry wine as well.
珍味：
ウベはバギオで栽培される有名な作物のひとつです。ウベはヤム（根菜）の一種でさつまいも類です。
沖縄にもあると聞きました。紫色をしていてとても美味しいです！
日本には抹茶ケーキ、抹茶アイスなどがありますが、バギオにはウベジャムやウベケーキ、ウベアイスもあります。
いちごも有名です！観光客はいちご狩りも楽しみます。特産のいちごジャムといちごワインもあります。
