Recently, I got to go to Gunma for the first time.
My husband and I traveled to Kusatsu and stayed by the town center.
Kusatsu is famous for its onsens. We were both very excited to relax and enjoy our two-day trip.
We got to try many of the free onsens as well as the one located in our hotel.
The water was so hot! We saw the yumomi (traditional way of cooling onsen water) and they said that the water can be up to 90 degrees Celsius.
先日初めて群馬に行きました。
夫と一緒に草津に行って、繁華街の近くに泊まったの。
草津は温泉で有名よね。ふたりして二日間の旅をのんびりと楽しもうと張り切っていたわ。
ホテルにある温泉だけでなく色々な無料温泉にも入ることができたの。
お湯はとても熱かったわ。湯もみ（温泉のお湯を冷ます伝統的な方法）を見たけど、お湯は90度にもなるって言っていたわ。

We ate lots of food, but my favorite was the pork katsu set from Miyataya Restaurant.
The food was so good that we went back the next day for lunch!
We also ate rice crackers at Mochiyaki Sembei Terakoya Honpo.
Our favorite was the soft rice cracker on a stick. It looks like a beef skewer but tastes like a rice cracker.
色んな物を食べたけど、みやたやの豚カツセットが一番のお気に入りよ。
あまりに美味しかったから次の日のお昼も食べに行っちゃった！
寺子屋本舗のもち焼せんべいも食べたわ。
串にささったぬれおかきが美味しかったな。牛串みたいな見た目だけど、味はお煎餅みたいだったわ。

At night, we put on our yukata and took a walk in the snow together.
We went to Sainokawara Park and enjoyed the snow. Neither of us had seen so much snow before.
夜は浴衣を着て、雪の中をお散歩したの。
西の河公園まで行って、雪を楽しんだわ。ふたりともあんなたくさんの雪を見たのは初めてだったわ。
