Hello I’m a new Lesson Partner and would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Francesca but you can call me ‘Fay’.
こんにちは！レッスンパートナーに加わったので自己紹介させてくださいね。
名前はFrancesca（フランシスカ）と言います。Fay（フェイ）と呼んでね。

I’m from the UK and my hometown is Birmingham, which is the second biggest city in England.
Birmingham is a really multicultural city with lots of different types of people from many different countries, religions and backgrounds living there.
イギリスで2番目に大きい都市のバーミンガム出身です。
バーミンガムはとっても多文化な街で、出身の国が様々だったり、色々な宗教やバックグラウンドを持った人々が住んでいるわ。

Historically it was a very industrial city, and it’s also where Cadbury’s chocolate brand is from!
歴史的には工業都市で、Cadbury’s chocolate（キャドバリーチョコレート）の発祥地でもあるの！

These days the city is more popular for shopping, restaurants, and the arts.
A lot of famous bands and artists come from Birmingham, especially heavy metal bands, but it also has an excellent Symphony Orchestra.
There are many great music venues, art galleries and museums in the city.
The architecture is quite unique with very old buildings right next to modern ones.
最近はショッピングやレストラン、アートが人気よ。
バーミンガム出身の名が知れたバンドやアーティストはたくさんいるんだけど、特にヘビーメタルバンドや素晴らしいオーケストラ交響楽団が有名ね。
素敵なコンサート会場やアートギャラリー、美術館もあるわ。
建築物がとてもユニークでものすごく古い建物の隣に近代的な建物が建っていたりするわ。

As well as teaching English I work as an illustrator so I’m very interested in many kinds of art.
I like to visit exhibitions but I get a lot of inspiration from old books, comics and magazines.
英語を教えながらイラスレーターとしても働いていて色々な種類のアートにとても興味があるの。
展覧会に行くのも好きだけど、古い本や漫画や雑誌からもたくさんのインスピレーションを受けるわ。

I enjoy watching movies but I usually prefer independent films or things from the past.
When I’m working at home, and wherever I go, I listen to music all the time.
映画を観るのが好きで普段は自主映画や古い映画のほうが好みなの。
家で仕事をする時も出かける時も常に音楽を聴いているわ。

I like most genres and listen to everything from KPOP and rock, to classical and ambient music.
I’m crazy about korean idols so if you have a favourite group or star I would love to talk about them with you!
好きな音楽のジャンルはK-popとロック、クラシックそしてアンビエントミュージック（環境音楽）です。
韓国のアイドルが大好き！あなたも好きなグループや韓流スターがいたらぜひ語り合いたいな！

If I have some free time I like to go somewhere with a lot of nature, like a park or botanical garden – I think walking and looking at the plants and trees is a really good way to relax and refresh.
時間があったら公園や植物園のような自然がある場所を訪ねるのが好きなの。
植物や樹木を見て回ることはリラックスしリフレッシュにもってこいだと思うわ。
