At the beginning of September, I took a trip to Hokkaido for 10 days by myself.
I have always heard the Hokkaido is very beautiful in the Summer.
As someone who enjoys hiking and nature, I decided to check it out.

First, I flew to Hakodate from Tokyo and stayed there for 2 nights.
I went to Mt. Hakodate and saw the famous night view of Hakodate and it was beautiful!
9月の初旬に、北海道に10日間のひとり旅に行ってきました！
北海道の夏は、とても美しいといつも聞いてい楽しむ。
ハイキングと自然が大好きだから、行かなくっちゃと決めたの。

まずは飛行機で東京から函館に向かい、2日間を過ごしました。
函館山に行き、函館の有名な夜景を観ました。見事なな夜景でした！

One of the days in Hakodate, I rented a car and went to hike Mt. Esan (恵山),
I also visited Onuma and from the lake, you could see Hokkaido Koma-ga-take (北海道駒ヶ岳).
函館旅行中には、車を借りて恵山を登りに行きました。
また、大沼公園と湖にも行き、北海道駒ヶ岳を望むことが出来ました。

In Hakodate, I tried the famous burger chain restaurant called Lucky Pierrot,
I had the most popular burger called the Chinese Chicken Burger and it was delicious but a little strange.
函館では、『ラッキーピエロ』という有名なハンバーガーのレストランに行きました。
一番人気のチャイニーズチキンバーガーを食べました。美味しかったけど、ちょっと変わった味でした。

After Hakodate, I took the night bus to Sapporo.
When I arrived in Sapporo, I rented a car for 8 days.
I stayed in Sapporo for 2 nights. On my first day, I drove to Mt. Tarumae (樽前山).
I hiked to the top and walked around the crater, this took about 4 hours in total.
The views were incredible and I could see the volcano erupting as I was walking around the crater.
You could also see the ocean view and Lake Shikotsu (支笏湖).
After hiking Mt. Tarumae,I drove to Noboribetsu (登別) to visit the Jikogudani Hell Valley (登別地獄谷), I was able to dip my feet into the natural foot bath and it was very relaxing.
函館の次は、夜行バスで札幌に向かいました。
札幌に到着し、8日間、車を借りました。
札幌には2日間滞在し、1日目は樽前山まで車で向かいました。
山頂までの登り、噴火口のクレーターあたりを散歩し、4時間ほどで見て回ることが出来ました。
素晴らしい光景で、噴火する火山のクレーター周辺を歩き回って見ることが出来ました。）
海を眺めたり、支笏湖を見たりすることも出来るんですよ。
樽前山を見た後、登別まで車で移動し、登別地獄谷を観光しました。
天然の足湯に足を浸けることかでき、とてもリラックス出来ました。

My second day in Sapporo, I drove to Shakotan (積丹町) to visit the three famous capes: Cape Ogon (黄金岬),Cape Shamui (島武意海岸) and Cape Kamui (神威岬).
The drive along the coast was amazing because I could see the ocean view and mountain views at the same time.
My favorite was Cape Kamui because it had the most beautiful view.
After that, I drove to Otaru to see the Otaru Canal,
it was very crowded but the night view was also very beautiful.
札幌の2日目は積丹町に車で向かい、三大名所の黄金岬、島武意海岸、神威岬を訪れました。)
海の眺めと山並みを一挙に観ることが出来て、海岸沿いのドライブは最高でした。
一番美しい風景を眺められた神威岬がとっても良かったです。
その後は、小樽運河を観るために小樽へ向かいました。
とても混雑していましたが、夜景もとても綺麗でした。

After Sapporo, I drove to Asahikawa to meet my friend who is currently living there.
We met while studying at a Japanese Language School in Tokyo
but he moved to Asahikawa to study Japanese this April.
After I picked up my friend, we drove to Shiretoko (知床国立公園).
It was a very long drive but we finally made it!
In Shiretoko, we visited the famous five lakes (知床五湖).

We were very lucky because during our drive, we came across a bear playing in the river!!
On the way back, we saw the same bear playing in the tree!
Many people stopped their car to take pictures.
札幌の次に、旭川に住んでいる友人に合うために車を出しました。
東京の日本語学校で勉強している間に出会ったのですが、
今年の4月に彼は日本語の勉強のために旭川に引っ越したのです。
彼を車に乗せて、私達は知床国立公園に行きました。
すごく長距離運転でしたが、なんとかたどり着くことが出来ました！
知床の名所である知床五湖を訪れました。

私たちはとってもラッキーで、ドライブの間に川で遊ぶクマに出会えたのです！！
帰り道では、同じクマが木と遊んでいるのを観ました！
たくさんの人が車を止めて写真を撮っていたわ。

After Shiretoko, we drove to Akan Mashu National Park (阿寒摩周国立公園).
We hiked Mt Mashu (摩周岳) and it took us about 6 hours,it was very long and tiring but the view was totally worth it!
Since we were very tired after our hike, we decided to take a break and have lunch.
For lunch, we had pork bowl (豚丼), it is supposed to be very famous around that area and it was super delicious.
知床の後は、阿寒摩周国立公園へ向かいました。
摩周岳を6時間掛けて登りました。すごく長い道のりで疲れましたが、そこでの眺めは本当に登る価値のあるものでした。
登山でとても疲れていたので、休憩と昼食をとることに決めました。
お昼ごはんに豚丼を食べました、この辺りは有名なお食事処のエリアだったようで、豚丼が美味しかったです。

After my trip to Akan Mashu National Park, we drove back to Asahikawa and I stayed in Asahikawa for 2 nights.
The first day, I went to Biei (美瑛) and Furano (富良野).
Furano is famous for their flower fields, so I visited two flower fields,Shikisai No Oka (四季彩の丘) and Tomita Farm (ファーム富田).
Both of these flower fields were so beautiful but my favorite was definitely Tomita Farm.
At Tomita, I enjoyed their famous lavander ice cream and melon!
The melon was the most delicious melon I ever had.
阿寒摩周国立公園の後は、車で旭川へ戻り、そこで2日間を過ごしました。
旭川1日目、美瑛と富良野を訪れました。
富良野は花畑として有名でしたので、2カ所を訪問しました。四季彩の丘とファーム富田です。
どちらも凄く綺麗な花畑でしたが、私の好みはファーム富田でした。
富田では、有名なラベンダーとメロンのアイスクリームを頂きました！
メロンアイスクリームは今まで食べた中で一番美味しかったわ。

After the flower fields, I went to visit the famous Blue Pond (青い池).
This was really cool because the water was so blue!
While driving around, I also ran into a very cute fox!
花畑の後は、有名な青い池を訪問しました。
この青い池は水がすごく青くてとってもかっこよかったです！
ドライブしている時には、とてもかわいいキツネにも遭遇しました！

My second day in Asahikawa, which was also the last day of my trip.
I decided to visit the tallest mountain in Hokkaido, Asahidake (旭岳).
I rode the cable car to the top and I started my hike to the summit of Asahidake.
It took about 3 hours round trip but this was the most exciting hike on my trip.
It was very steep, rocky and windy but the views along the way were incredible.
The weather changes very quickly on this mountain, so hiking could be very dangerous and you have to be very careful.
The view from the summit was gorgeous but it was also very cold!
After my hike, I drove back to Sapporo from Asahikawa and I took a morning flight back to Tokyo from Sapporo the next day.
旭川の2日目は北海道旅行の最終日でした。
北海道で一番高い山、旭岳に行くことに決めました。
ケーブルカーで頂上へ行き、旭丘の山頂で散策し始めました。
山頂周辺に3時間ほど滞在しましたが、今回の旅の中でも最高にわくわくするハイキングとなりました。
とても急勾配な険しい道のりで、岩が多く風も強かったですが、その道のりの風景は素晴らしかったです。
この山の気候はとても変わりやすい為、登山には大きな危険が伴い注意深く進める必要があります。
山頂からの眺めは美しく心を引き付けますが、とても寒かったです！
下山後は、旭川から車で札幌まで戻り、翌日の朝のフライトで札幌から東京に帰りました。

This was such an amazing trip and I had so much fun, I would love to go back to Hokkaido again!
本当に素晴らしい旅行となり、とても楽しかったです。是非、また北海道に行きたいと思います！
