I love to travel, see the world and to explore new places.
I’ve been to many places in Asia and some of those places are considered “off the beaten track” or “off the beaten path”.
This is an expression which means places that are not frequently travelled or don’t have many tourists.
私は世界中を旅行し、新しい場所を開拓する事が好きです。
私はアジア各国を旅行したことがあり、その中にはほとんど知られていない場所もあります。
「off the beaten track/off the beaten path」とう表現は、観光客がほとんどいない、あまり旅行先として選ばれない場所の事を指します。

One place that I visited that was “off the beaten track” was North Korea. I went there for 5 days in 2012.
It’s a very beautiful country and I got to see many interesting sight seeing places. I was lucky to see the Arirang Mass Games in person.
It’s a huge, synchronized gymnastics and artistic performance and one of the most incredible shows I’ve ever seen.
知られていない国のひとつである、北朝鮮を訪れた事があり、2012年に5日間滞在しました。とても美しい国で興味深い観光所を沢山巡りました。
私は生でアリアンマスゲームをみることができ、ラッキ－でした。
とても壮大で同調性のある動きと芸術的なパフォーマンスは、私が今まで見てきたものの中で一番素晴らしいと思いました。

Up until recently, another country that used to be “off the beaten track” was Myanmar and I recently spent one week there.
It’s a really beautiful country, the people are so friendly, it’s safe and it has such a rich culture and history and it has so many gorgeous pagodas and temples. However these days it’s not “off the beaten path”. Now it’s “on the tourist trail.”
“On the tourist trail” means it’s a place that has many tourists.
最近まで未知の国のひとつであったミャンマーへ1週間行ってきました。
本当に美しい国であり人々も優しい方ばかりの安全な国です。そして豊富な文化と歴史があり、ゴージャスな寺院やお寺も沢山あります。
最近では、ミャンマーは知られていない国から、沢山の観光客がくる国へと変わってきました。
