Hello, “B” members,
It has been awhile since I last wrote a blog. I live a rather boring life
but recently I have received some very exciting news.
“We are pregnant!”
and my wife is having our very first child. Recently, in theStates(America) it has become common to say, “We are pregnant!”
Of course,
I am not pregnant even though I am putting on a few pounds(gainingweight/getting fatter).
My wife is! But we say, “We are pregnant,” in
order to show the togetherness(teamwork) of both man and woman, husband and
wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, that we are “ together(working together)”
in the process of having a baby. Though, I am very, very nervous about
having my first child and raising him or her, I am quite certain that no
matter(despite) the struggles(difficulties) my wife and I will succeed.
“Do you want a boy or a girl?” is probably the most common question that
men receive when people find out about the baby. To be honest, I really
don’t care about the sex(boy or girl) of the baby, my only wish is for it
to be healthy.
I hope/wish deeply for the safety and health of both of “my little
ones”(affectionate/loving term for “child”) and my “my other little
one”(affectionate/loving term for “my small wife.”
“b” watashi no… has a
little different meaning… for me, “b” is for my baby 🙂
Wish me luck
