秋、それは今年最後の一番素敵な笑顔をみれる時。



I recently came across this wonderful quote which inspired me to go out
andsee the year`s second spring, where every leaf becomes as beautiful as aflower.
僕は最近この言葉をたまたまみつけて、この良い言葉は僕を外に出かけるきっか
けをつくり春に美しい花が咲くように葉っぱが色づくのは第二の春のように見えるよ。



Recently, I travelled to Daigo Machi, in the northeast of Ibaraki
Prefecture, to experience the magic of the countryside in mid-autumn.
As Iwalked in the countryside, the leaves were at their most mature and
fallingsilently to the ground in the cool, still autumn air.
最近、僕は茨城の北部にある大子町に旅行に行き、秋まっさかりの田舎で
不思議な経験をしたよ。
田舎道を歩いていると、葉っぱ達は色づいていて、冷たい秋の空気と共に静かに
落ちていくんだ。



Autumn is may favourite season in Japan – it is the season of fashion
andfood. As the cooler temperatures bring an added chicness to the
streets ofTokyo, people feast on the season`s harvest.
秋は日本で僕の一番好きな季節なんだ。
秋はファッションや食べ物の季節だね。寒くなる気温は東京のストリートに
シックさを加えてくれて、人々は季節の収穫のごちそうをいただく。

“Shoku yoku no aki” is one of my favourite expressions from Japanese.
The phrase conjures up images in my mind of people sitting in warm bars
eatingand drinking, while the first frost of the year crispens the grass outside.
「食欲の秋」は僕の好きな日本語の表現の一つだよ。
このフレーズは葉っぱを氷でサクサクさせるような初霜の時期に
食べたり飲んだりする温かいバーで人々が座っている姿を連想させるよ。
