Hi Everyone!
皆さん、こんにちは！
It is almost springtime here in Japan and I am getting excited.
My first cherry blossom season is almost here.
I am leaving with my husband to go back to the USA in March.
It has been 8 months since last seeing my family and friends.
日本では春が近づいて来て、私はワクワクして来ました！
私の初めての桜の季節はすぐそこね。
3月に私は夫と一緒にアメリカに帰国します。
最後に家族と友達と会ってから8ヶ月ぶりなんです。
I hope I make it back in time to see some of the beautiful blossoms.
I will return to b-cafe on April 6. We have friends coming back　to
Japan with us and I am very excited to show them around and see what they think.
I am sure we will take them to Kamakura and to Hasedera Temple.
It is one of my favorite places here.
美しい桜を見られる頃に日本に帰って来たいわ。
私は4月6日にbに戻って来る予定よ。
友達も一緒に連れて帰って来るので彼らに日本を案内するのが楽しみよ！
彼らを鎌倉に連れて行って、長谷寺に行くつもりです。
私のお気に入りの場所の一つなの。
We have since learned if we are having a boy or a girl in June.
The answer is a boy. I need help with names.
My husband says no to all the names I suggested.
I finally told him he had to name him.
So far I have said no to all his suggestions. It is not looking good.
Any suggestions?
私は6月に出産予定なんだけど、男の子と女の子のどっちだと思う？
答えは男の子です！
なんて名前を付けたらいいかしら？
夫は私が提案した全ての名前にノーと言うのよ。
だから彼に赤ちゃんの名前をつけてといったの。
でも、これまで私は彼の提案の全てを断ったわ。これって良くないわよね。
どうしたらいいかしら？
We are　doing a 3D/4D ultrasound when we go back to the US.
I want to see what he will look before he is born. Maybe it will help
with a name.
If we get some good pictures of his little face I will be happy to share
it with you!
私達はアメリカに帰ったら3D/4D超音波検査をするわ。
赤ちゃんがどんな姿をしているのか彼が生まれる前に見たいの。
きっと名前を付けるのに役立つかもしれないわ。
もし彼の小さな顔の良い写真が撮れたら皆さんにも見せたいわ！
We just spent our first Valentine’s Day here in Japan.
We went to McDonald’s.
Valentine’s Day is a very celebrated holiday in the US for sweethearts.
Right before our first Valentine’s Day when we started dating,
my husband discovered that I had never had a happy meal.
For those of you who don’t know about McDonald’s happy meals,
they are for kids.
It comes with a cheeseburger, small fries, small drink and a toy from
whatever　current kids movie is out. We got 4 happy meals.
Two for my husband, one for me and one for the dog.
So, for our first Valentine’s Day together we went to McDonald’s.
We have gotten happy meals every Valentine’s Day since.
日本に来てから初めてのバレンタインデー、
私達はマクドナルドに行きました。
バレンタインデーは、アメリカでは愛する人の為のとても有名な休日です。
私達が付き合い始めて最初のバレンタインデーの直前に、
夫は私がこれまでハッピーセットを食べたことがないことを知ったの。
マクドナルドのハッピーセットは子供達の為のメニューよ。
チーズバーガー、小さなフライドポテトと飲み物、公開中の映画からのおもちゃ
のセットです。
二つは夫、一つは私、もう一つは犬が食べたの。
そういうわけで私達の最初のデートは一緒にマクドナルドに行ったの。
それ以来、毎回バレンタインデーはハッピーセットを食べているわ！
