Hi everyone!
みなさん！！こんにちは！！

Today I would like to tell you a little bit about my hometown and about some of the fun and interesting things there are to do there.
First of all, I am from the state of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin is not as well-known as other states, but it is still a nice place to visit if you are looking for friendly people and a way to get away from it all.

今日は私の地元のちょっとおもしろい事や楽しい事についてお話ししようと思います。
まず、私の出身地はアメリカのウィスコンシン州というところです。
ウィスコンシン州はあまり有名な場所ではありませんが、
もしフレンドリーな人々との出会いを探しているのであれば、オススメの場所です！

In Wisconsin there are many ways to enjoy the outdoors.
You can go hunting, fishing, and camping nearly anywhere in the state.
As there are many wild animals, it is easy to spot a flock of geese or even some deer grazing in a field.
You can enjoy adventure sports or try biking or renting a moped to explore any of our state forests and parks.
Golfing is also very popular and I believe it’s much cheaper than golfing here in Japan. You can golf 18 holes for only about \5,000

ウィスコンシンは沢山のアウトドアが楽しめる場所です。
ハンティングやフィッシング、キャンプも楽しめます！
そこでは多くの野生動物も生息しています。ガチョウの群れや、草を食べている鹿も簡単に見ることができます。
また、アドベンチャースポーツも楽しむ事ができます。自転車に乗ったり、モペット(ペダル付オートバイ）を借りて森林公園を散策することもできます。
ゴルフもまたとても有名で、日本でゴルフをするよりもウィスコンシンの方が安いと思います。18ホール回って大体￥5000でプレーができます！

Wisconsin has many wonderful and fresh foods that you can try out.
Since it is an agricultural state you can enjoy locally grown apples, cherries, cranberries, pears, grapes, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
In fact, cranberries are Wisconsin’s number one fruit crop.
They are one of only three fruits native to Wisconsin.
There are also many pick-your-own orchards and berry patches throughout the state.
One fun thing to do is find a local farmers’ market where you can buy locally produced food and also talk with the person who made it.
ほかにもウィスコンシン州には新鮮で美味しい食べ物が沢山あるので、ぜひ試して欲しいです。
ウィスコンシンでは農業州なので、地元でとれた、リンゴ、サクランボ、クランベリー、洋梨、ぶどう、いちご、ラズベリー、ブルーベリーを楽しむことができます。
ウィスコンシン州では3つしか原産の果物がありません。
実際に、クランベリーはウィスコンシン州で収穫量ナンバーワンの果物です。
ウィスコンシン州は、農園や果物狩りができる場所が沢山あります。
また一つの楽しみ方として、地元でとれた食べ物を買うことのできる、ローカル市場へ行き生産者と話す事もできるのです。

And last, but not least, there are many exciting events that you can participate in.
Wisconsinites often enjoy celebrating in ways that bring tons of food,laughter, and most of all great memories.
Just to give you an idea, here are 3 different events that will take place this year.
そして最後に、あなたが参加できる刺激的なイベントが沢山あります。
ウィスコンシン州の人々は、お祝いの時はたくさんの食べ物や笑いや思い出に満ちた、お祝い方をします。
イメージが湧くように今年行われる3つのイベントをご紹介します！

The first event is the Algoma Main Street Classic Car Show.
At this event you can enjoy a day full of music, food, drinks, and cars.
You can see classic and collector cars, trucks, and motorcycles all displayed on the town of Algoma’s Main Street.
最初のイベントは「the Algoma Main Street Classic Car Show」です。
このイベントは、アルゴマメインストリート全てに、クラッシクカーやコレクターの車、トラック、バイクが飾られています。また、音楽、食べ物、飲み物、車が一日中楽しむことができます。

Another event is called the Shawano Folk Music Festival.
Actually, my mom has served on the committee that sponsor’s this festival for many years.
It’s an interesting mix of folk music, arts, and crafts.
You can watch concerts, participate in various workshops, or even dance. It has been going on every year for 37 years!
他には、「Shawano Folk Music Festival」と呼ばれたイベントがあります。
実は私の母は、長年委員会のスポンサーをしていました。
イベントは、フォークソングや芸術、工芸が混ざり合いとても興味深いです。
また、コンサートを見られたり、色々なワークショップにも参加できたり、
たまに踊ったり。このイベントは37年前から毎年開催されています。

And finally, there is the Abbotsford Dairy Breakfast.
At this breakfast you can eat pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, juice, coffee, a variety of cheeses, white or chocolate milk, and ice cream.
Not only that, but you can also listen to live polka music….all on a farm.

最後に、「 Abbotsford Dairy Breakfast.」
この朝食を楽しむイベントでは、パンケーキ、メープルシロップ、ソーセージ、ジュース、コーヒー、色んな種類のチーズ、ホワイトチョコレートミルクか、チョコレートミルク、アイスクリームが食べられます。
これだけではなく、農場でポルカミュージックを聞くこともできます。

So, if you like small towns and nature, nice people, and lots of laughs, consider Wisconsin for your next vacation.
もし、あなたが小さな町や、自然、フレンドリーな人々、笑顔が沢山ある場所が好きなら、あなたの次の休暇はウィスコンシン州に決まりね！
