Hi everyone! I’m a new lesson partner at B and my name is Julia. Nice to meet you all!
I’m from Tel Aviv, Israel but I currently live in Tokyo as a graduate student and cultural explorer.
I’ve been living in Tokyo for 6 months only, but I have yet to visit Kyoto and Osaka.

私は、イスラエルのテルアビブ出身ですが、現在は大学院生として東京に住み日本の文化を楽しんでいます。
まだ東京に6ヶ月間しか住んでいませんが既に京都と大阪に行きました。

After graduating in English/German translation, I went straight to London to get into TESL world and become a teacher.
As a lifelong linguaphile I love teaching English and talking about cultural diversity of the English speaking world.
I believe that creating a friendly environment where everyone can enjoy learning something new is the key to steady progress.
Right now I am studying at Waseda University and trying to improve my Japanese as much as possible.
I love watching movies and talking about them. My fauvorite genres are neo-noir and comedies.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and tasting local food – I am an avid fan of Okonomiyaki.
I also love kimonos and I hope I can buy one for myself one day!
英語とドイツの翻訳の学校を卒業後、先生になるためにTESLを習得しにロンドンに行きました。
生涯、言語を学ぶのが大好きな私は、英語を教えることも英語圏の多様な文化について話すことも大好きです。
私は、みなさんが何か新しいことを学ぶことを楽める環境を作ることは、上達する鍵だと思います。
私は、現在早稲田大学で勉強し出来るだけ日本語の上達に取り組んでいます。
映画が大好きで映画について語ることも大好きです。私の好きなジャンルは、ネオノワールとコメディーです。
お休みの日は、ピアノを引いたりローカルフードを食べたりして楽しんでいます。特にお好み焼きが大好きでたまらないの。
着物も大好きなので、いつか自分のものを一着買いたいな
